www.sdfootball.net/2012/04/2012-nfl-draft-spotlight-ronnie-hillman.htmlHeight & Weight: 5'9" 200lbs Position: Running Back Hometown: La Habra, California College: San Diego State High School: La Habra On September 14, 1991, San Diego State freshman running back Marshall Faulk set an NCAA record with 386 rushing yards during a 55-34 victory over Pacific. On that same day Ronnie and Tiffany Hillman welcomed Ronnie Hillman Jr. to the world and 19 years later he would go on to make his own impact as a San Diego State running back. In 2010 he finished his freshman season with 1,532 yards rushing breaking not only a Mountain West Conference record but also the school freshman record set by Marshall Faulk (1,429). Hillman suffered through several injuries during his sophomore year but he still managed to out do himself by rushing for 1,656 yards and 19 touchdowns. Despite playing for San Diego State for only 2 seasons, Ronnie Hillman will be remembered as one of the most exciting play makers to ever put on an Aztecs uniform. His ability to break long runs on any given snap will be greatly missed by San Diego State football fans and spectators. He is projected by many to be picked in the 3rd or 4th round of the draft but wherever he lands, you can expect to see big plays from him on Sundays.
