There is great potential in New Big East football, as evidenced by last season's bowl game results. Two thirds of the schools which will comprise the new Big East (Temple, San Diego State, Boise State, Louisville, Rutgers, Cincinatti, Houston and SMU), played in bowls, winning 6 out of 8. On top of that, don't be surprised if BYU lands in the Big East before nest year (that would make 7 out of 9 wins). All of the new schools coming in (including MEMPHIS) will instantly enjoy the benefits of at least an extra $10 million per year with vastly improved perceptions. Those schools will rapidly improve as a result. Winning the Big East will never be a cakewalk.

I hope the TV money is 10 mil per year per team. The resources the Big East will provide teams will be a great upgrade. I just hope we can get another Western team sooner rather than later. I know I ve stated this multiple times already but I really want Fresno State in. Obviously BYU would be nice but I don t want a team that s going to leave us in one year for the Big 12. I prefer stability and teams that want to be here. Thanks for the thoughtful post grey please don t be a stranger ;D

I don't want to wish my life away but I just can't wait for 2013 to watch the Memphis Tigers in the BE football and basketball games. We may be a little slow the first year in football but after that you better watch out because the Tigers will be on the prowl.
